Gatehouse HS1 Skull Cap - Black

The Gatehouse HS1 Skull Cap is a unique and striking helmet which has been incredibly popular amongst well known and everyday riders alike!

The Gatehouse HS1 features a four point leather harness with a safety buckle, and a breathable Airflow inner lining. It is ideal for competing in, and has been a huge hit amongst eventers, whose top prioity is extreme safety. Thats because this hard wearing skull cap is the only hat in the world to be certified to both the BSI and the Snell E2001 kitemark.

To give you a quick idea, the Snell E2001 is the highest standard for manufactured helmets in the world, not an easy standard to meet. It includes a unique test which involves a simulation of rider falling into a fence rail, or having a secondary hit from a horse's hoof. The hat is also approved by the Pony Club, FEI and HRA for competing in.

We would strongly recommend that if you live within travelling distance, you pop into our shop to have your new hat fitted by one of our fully trained staff members, to ensure that you can enjoy your time in the saddle, whilst staying safe and looking splendid.
