Fairfax Short Stud Guard Girth - Black

This stylish Stud Guard girth is ideal for fast-paced jumping work. Lined with Prolite, known for its ability to absorb impacts and prevent rubbing. Reports from riders all over the world show that this girth greatly increases the horses performance, and help to keep him completely comfortable by reducing pressure, aiding range of movement and ridding gait asymetry, which is often a problem resulting from poorly fitted low-quality girths. This girth is completely horse friendly, as it is Prolite lined which not only makes for maximum comfort, but absorbs impacts, prevents painful rubbing, and allows the horses muscles to move freely underneath the girth, whilst still maintaining the necessary close contact. The Fairfax girths are a fantastic investment,  and as if all the above benefits weren't enough, this girth also makes for a better jump by increasing hock flexion, front leg extension, neatness over fence, and power on take-off!

Standard or Narrow? - The Fairfax girths come in two options, standard gauge or narrow gauge. If your horse measures 21cm and above, you will need a Standard Gauge. If your horse measures 20cm or less you will need the narrow gauge.

How to Measure your horse -  you will need to measure the area between the horse' elbows on the flattest part.

How to fit your Fairfax girth - Place the curved section facing forward between the horses front legs with the Fairfax Logo featuring on the near side
